Founding
The Centre has been (informally) active since 1993. In February 2000 Sakya Ling became a registered charity in the UK - no. 1079247.
Objectives
The main objective of the Sakya Ling is to promote the advancement
of Buddhism. The Center also provides a place of learning and community
involovement. Activities
Daily prayers are held at the centre every day of the week and special events are organised throughout the year. Special cermonies and prayers are conducted on request.His Holiness Sakya Trizin is visiting the Sakya Ling on 3rd June, 2010.
